About Us

Cathouse Creations is staffed by several rescue kitties. Most of them are product testers under the strict supervision of Puzzleface. As some of them find new permanent homes, others must be trained to take their places. All the Cathouse Creations kitties are working cats. Puzzleface will not tolerate slackers. Any kitty who does not sleep and play with the new products for at least 16 hours a day will be replaced.

'Purrfect Site' Award

For information, you can always email Cissie, but there are other personnel who might also be of help:

puzzlefacetrainssophie.jpg Puzzleface, our founder and CEO, trains Sophie, a new employee, in product testing. Sophie and her extended family were rescued from a vacant house near a busy intersection. Several of her sisters were badly injured from sleeping on a car engine to keep warm. Her sister, Sylvia, who bears the most serious scars, has been promoted to foreman.

Paddles, who is polydactyl on all four paws, tests new cat beds. With those feet, she is a natural for plumping up the beds for maximum sleeping comfort. She came from the local Humane Society.
flamepractisessleeping.jpg Flame takes a catnap on his day off. He and his two siblings were thrown from a car on the Interstate at five weeks of age. They made it to the grassy verge, but Flame ended up in a fire ant hill. They were rescued and the other two found homes immediately, but Flame was rejected because he looked horrible. When he came to us, he had foot and tail rot, anemia, malnutrition, fire ant bites, hookworms, giardia and mild brain damage. He is the ugly duckling who became a swan, as he seems to be mostly Maine Coon.
spookrestspaws.jpg Spook takes a break to rest his paws with his sister, Tippurr, after cutting out padding for the beds. Spook, Tippurr, Pouncer and Pippin were brought to us in a laundry basket at four months of age. The other two have found wonderful homes. Spook and Tippurr are too black to be adopted easily.
monavictoriarunsthepedals.jpg Mona Victoria runs the pedal for the serger, as well the sewing machines. Mona is half Siamese: the body style and voice, not the colors or eyes. She was on her last day at the pound in a nearby small town, and was rescued when we saw her picture in the newspaper. She is a non-nonsense kind of girl and very serious about her work and is the machine room supervisor.
Puzzleface and Nicole Puzzleface realizes the younger generation of workers would rather play than work.
